Focus that gets measured. Excuses that don't fit.Computer and phone, at once·Free beta

What if reaching your goal came down to focus, not willpower?

If you want to achieve more than 99% of people, you need more than motivation: you need a method. That is where I can help.

Hito turns your goals into a plan, protects your hours of focus and measures your progress. If you fall short, you will know why: you did not put in enough hours of focus.

Why it's so hard

It's not a lack of discipline. It's a thousand engineers and a week nobody has laid out.

TikTok, Instagram and YouTube aren't competing for your time: they compete for your attention, and they have the smartest people in the world designing every scroll so you can't stop. Each short video gives you a hit of dopamine and leaves you with less appetite for what actually matters, like opening the book. You're not lazy: the game is rigged.

Then there's the other front: your real availability. Almost nobody gets whole free afternoons; you get forty-minute gaps between classes, work and dinner. If nobody lays them out, they evaporate, and the goal that did fit never gets started.

Hito does both: it lays out your hours and it shuts the doors.

How it works

Your goal → a plan → hours of real focus.

Most goals don't fail for lack of drive, but because nobody lays out the hours and there are too many distractions. Hito tackles both.

01 · Tell us your goal and your availability

"I want to pass the exam in 6 months. I have 7 to 9 and Saturdays."

Tell Hito what you want to achieve, by when, and when you can actually work. A civil-service exam, a language, a side project, a new skill. Natural language, no 40 fields to fill in.

02 · Hito spreads the load

Every goal on one calendar, without colliding.

It splits each goal into steps that fit one session and drops them into your real gaps. If you are chasing two or three goals at once, it shares the days out between them instead of overlapping them.

03 · When it is time, it tells you

The notification lands and the session starts.

Ordinary notifications pull you out of your work. Hito's pulls you in: it reminds you of the session you promised yourself. And the moment you start, it goes quiet and shuts the rest.

Break it down

You give the goal. Hito gives back the plan.

"Pass Calculus III" is anxiety. "Multiple integrals · 1 h 45 m · today at 17:00" is a plan. Tell Hito what you want to achieve and by when. It splits it into topics, the topics into steps, and the steps into real sessions on your calendar.

  • Natural language. You tell it "I want to pass math in 6 weeks" and it hands back the breakdown. No 40 fields to fill in.
  • Steps that actually fit in an afternoon. Each step is completed in a single session, it's never left half-done.
  • Several goals at once. The exam, the English and the side project all fit in the same week, spread out without colliding.

The engine

A day goes sideways. The plan does not.

You get sick, an emergency lands, you skip Tuesday's session. Hito recalculates what's left the same day and spreads the pending hours across the days you have left. You touch nothing.

  • It recalculates itself. Every change to the day readjusts the rest of the plan; no rebuilding the calendar by hand.
  • No scolding. A lost day is not a failure, it is a variable. It gets spread out and you carry on.
  • And it tells you straight. If the hours you have left no longer reach the date, Hito warns you in time to move the date or raise the pace.

Blocking

Locks the computer you study on. Locks the phone you escape to. At the same time.

Other apps block the phone you already ignored, or the browser you dodge with a fresh profile. Hito blocks the very machine you work on, at the OS level, and seals your phone at the same moment. An hour with no cracks is where you drop into flow and actually learn: that is what gets protected.

  • Operating system. Real lock at the OS level on macOS and Windows, not a browser extension you can dodge with a new profile.
  • Paired phone. Your iPhone or Android locks along with the session. Urgent calls only.
  • No cheating. There's no hidden "skip" button. Canceling a session gets logged.

Why it works

Depth isn't improvised: it's protected.

Willpower runs out

Every time you tell your phone no, you burn mental battery you need for the exam. Hito takes the decision away: there's nothing to resist.

Refocusing is expensive

A notification from outside doesn't cost you ten seconds: it breaks your train of thought and you're slow to get it back. Hito keeps that thread intact.

The deeper you go, the more you pull out

No mystery: whoever puts in quality hours moves forward. Hito counts only those, and watching them climb is what brings you back tomorrow.

Your rhythm

Hito learns when you truly perform.

Every session leaves a trace. Over time, Hito draws your focus map and tells you which hours you produce most, so you can put the hard work where it really pays off. The day something doesn't work out, your stats will tell you the truth.

  • Your peak hours, clearSee the windows where your focus runs highest, by day of the week.
  • Suggestions, not scolding"You focus 40% more in the morning": Hito proposes when to place each session.
  • Real progress, not vanityTrue focus hours versus screen time. No trophies, no comparisons.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Right now, in beta, it's free and no card required. It'll be paid later.

Does it really block, or can I skip it?

Blocking at the operating-system level, not a browser extension you dodge with a new profile. In strict mode there's no back door.

How many devices should I install it on?

Every one that distracts you. Distraction just moves to whichever screen you leave open, so Hito installs on each and closes them at the same time: that is when control is total.

Is it watching me? What about privacy?

No. Hito doesn't spy or use your camera: it only blocks the apps you choose. Nothing else.

Which devices does it work on?

Mac, Windows and Linux today. Mobile (iOS and Android) is coming soon.

What if I need one of the blocked apps to study?

Selective blocking: you choose what disappears and what stays. What you need stays open.

Fail to plan,
plan to fail.

The difference between what you want and what you achieve is almost never willpower: it's having a plan and executing it. Tell Hito your goal and it turns it into real steps, blocks out the noise, and counts every hour of focus.

Free beta, no card. It'll be paid later.
