Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Hito, a focus and productivity app provided by Hito Labs («Hito», «we»). By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Hito.

2. The service

Hito helps you break goals into milestones, block distractions during your focus sessions and measure the hours you spend on what matters. It is available for desktop (Mac, Windows, Linux), mobile and web.

Hito is in beta. The service is provided «as is», may change, and some features may fail or be removed.

3. Your account

You need an account to sync your data across devices. You must be of legal age in your country of residence and provide accurate information.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know if you detect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

When using Hito you agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others;
• attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
• interfere with the operation of the service or circumvent its technical limits;
• resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.

5. Subscription and payments

During the beta, Hito is free. In the future we may offer paid plans with a trial period. We will inform you of prices and conditions before charging you, and any subscription will renew under the terms in force at the time of purchase.

6. Intellectual property

Hito and its software, brand and design are owned by Hito Labs. You retain ownership of the data and content you create (your milestones, sessions and goals). You grant us only the permissions needed to provide the service (for example, storing and syncing your data).

7. Availability and changes

We strive to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, notifying you when the change is significant.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hito is provided without warranties and we will not be liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Hito and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or where required for legal or security reasons.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable consumer regulations.
